Mit Kvindeliv

Practical information.

How your consultation works

Consultations at Mit Kvindeliv take place online.

The consultation can be held in Danish or English.

If there is a need to meet in person, this can be arranged at Rislundvej 3, 8240 Risskov.

Before your first consultation with the doctor you will be asked to fill in a thorough questionnaire about your current situation, symptoms, medical history and previous treatment, so that I can prepare as well as possible.

In the consultation we use your information together and assess what the next step should be.

You do not need to prepare before your free call.

Physical examinations and treatment

Many issues can be assessed and treated through online consultations. Others require blood tests, ultrasound scans, a physical examination or a procedure.

If something is needed that cannot be done online, I help you on to relevant partners.

Before the programme starts, I tell you which tests and examinations, if any, are included in the price, and whether there are further costs for external partners.

Cancellations and changing your appointment

You can change or cancel a planned consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the consultation, or do not show up, a fee of DKK 1,000 is charged. Read more in my terms & conditions.

If you become acutely ill or other special circumstances arise, contact me and we will work it out together.

Contact

If you have questions about booking, payment or your programme, you can contact me at hej@mitkvindeliv.dk.

(clinical messages must be sent through MY PAGE – administrative messages go by email)

If you become acutely ill

Mit Kvindeliv is not an emergency service.

In case of acute illness or serious symptoms that require a prompt medical assessment, you must contact your own GP, the out-of-hours medical service or the emergency helpline in your region.

In case of life-threatening illness or serious acute symptoms, call 112 (the emergency number in Denmark).

Payment

You are told the content and the total price of your programme before you decide. I clarify any extra examinations or other costs with you in advance.

Medical records

Your treatment at Mit Kvindeliv is recorded and kept in accordance with the applicable rules, in the same way as other medical treatment.

Information from your consultations, examinations and treatment is documented in your medical record as part of your programme.

Mit Kvindeliv does not replace emergency medical care.
