Mit Kvindeliv

Terms & conditions.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms describe the framework for booking, payment, cancellations and healthcare services at Mit Kvindeliv.

This is an English translation of the Danish original (“Vilkår og betingelser”). If there are any differences, the Danish version prevails.

1. About the clinic and the agreement

Mit Kvindeliv ApS, CVR 46844505, Rislundvej 3, 8240 Risskov, Denmark, hej@mitkvindeliv.dk, offers private specialist medical advice and treatment within women’s health. Professionally responsible is Sara Koed Badre-Esfahani, specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics, PhD. These terms apply when booking the clinic’s services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Services and form of consultation

We offer individual consultations and individually described package programmes, but not subscriptions. Consultations take place, as a rule, online via Whereby. Meeting in person at Rislundvej 3 in Risskov can be arranged as needed. The specific service, duration, content and price appear from the website, the booking system or a separate agreement. If an issue requires a physical examination or other investigation, the clinic assesses the need for further referral or collaboration.

3. Booking and preparation

Booking takes place via Terapeut Booking or by individual agreement. You receive a confirmation with relevant information. Before a first consultation with the doctor we may ask you to fill in a healthcare questionnaire. A free introductory call requires no special preparation.

4. Prices and payment

The total price is stated before the agreement is entered into. Payment is made by bank transfer or MobilePay on the basis of an invoice. The payment deadline is 8 days from the invoice date. Medication, laboratory tests, scans and services from external partners are included only if expressly stated. Any further costs are stated and agreed in advance. In case of late payment, statutory interest and reminder fees may be charged in accordance with the applicable rules.

5. Cancellations, rebooking and no-shows

You can cancel or change a consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the consultation, or do not show up, a fee of DKK 1,000 is charged. In case of acute illness or other special circumstances we may, after an individual assessment, choose to waive the fee. The fee is not charged as an additional payment on top of an already paid full consultation price for the same consultation that did not take place. Cancellations can be made via the booking system or as directed in the booking confirmation. If the clinic cancels, we offer a new time or refund any prepayment for the service not delivered. Mandatory statutory rights take precedence over this provision.

6. Package programmes and early termination

A package programme is sold at a total price and with content stated in advance. If, after the start, you yourself choose to end the programme, we do not, as a rule, refund payment for remaining consultations or other parts of the package not yet used. This applies only to the extent that the term is lawful and does not override mandatory rights, including any statutory right of withdrawal or claims arising from defective delivery. Double payment is not charged for the same no-show. Specific programme descriptions state the number of consultations, duration, total price and any special terms.

7. Right of withdrawal for distance sales

For agreements entered into online, the rules of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act may give a 14-day right of withdrawal from the conclusion of the agreement, depending on the type of agreement and any exceptions. If you expressly request that a service is started before the deadline expires, there may, under the conditions of the Act, be an obligation to pay for services already delivered. The right of withdrawal may lapse on full delivery if the conditions of the Act are met. The mandatory information and any necessary express requests are given in connection with the conclusion of the agreement.

8. Digital consultations and technical problems

Join from a quiet, private place with a suitable device and a stable connection. If technical problems prevent the consultation, we agree a safe alternative solution or a new time. A digital consultation does not replace a physical examination when it is medically necessary.

9. Medical assessment

Assessment, advice and treatment rest on an individual medical assessment and take place in dialogue with you. You receive information about relevant options, benefits, risks and alternatives. A consultation does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, prescription, treatment or effect. The clinic may recommend other treatment or investigation if the digital form of consultation is not sufficient.

10. Messages and response times

Healthcare messages must be sent via My page. Administrative questions about booking and payment can be sent to hej@mitkvindeliv.dk. We aim to reply on My page within 1–2 working days and to other emails within 5 working days. Response times are indicative and do not constitute an emergency service. Follow-up, message contact and prescription renewal are included only to the extent agreed for the service concerned.

11. Not an emergency service

Mit Kvindeliv does not offer emergency medical care. In case of an acute need for treatment, contact your own GP, the out-of-hours medical service or the relevant regional emergency service. In case of life-threatening symptoms, call 112.

12. Medical records and confidentiality

We use Terapeut Booking for booking and patient records and keep records in accordance with the applicable rules. See the privacy policy at mitkvindeliv.dk/en/privacy-policy for information about the processing of personal data.

13. Complaints and patient rights

If you are dissatisfied with a programme, you can contact hej@mitkvindeliv.dk. You can find information about healthcare complaints at the Patient Complaints Authority (Styrelsen for Patientklager) and about patient injury compensation at the Patient Compensation Association (Patienterstatningen). These terms do not limit patients’ statutory rights.

14. Liability and changes

The clinic provides healthcare services in accordance with applicable legislation and professional standards and does not guarantee a particular result. The terms do not limit rights under mandatory legislation. For agreements already entered into, the accepted terms apply, unless otherwise lawfully agreed. The current version is available at mitkvindeliv.dk/en/terms.
